Project Description

The Painted Pathways Documentary Project was a collaboration between Pinnacles Prep scholars and professional artist Terry Valdez, and Pinnacles Prep board member and media arts educator, Rick Wray. The four-month collaboration gave two lead student groups an opportunity to experience the creative process behind mural and stencil making as well as documentary filmmaking methodology. The final product was a vibrant art pathway that all students, and numerous community members, contributed to that weaves its way across the entire school campus.
